<p align="justify">Stream-4 for admission in NIOS is open throughout the year for those learners who have already passed Senior Secondary or above from any recognized Board/University and want to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification or learners who had appeared but could not clear or who were eligible but could not appear the Public examination of Senior Secondary level from any recognized Board in the same subject combination in which they had appeared and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS at senior Secondary Level. The learner had to submit his/her admission form along with the original Drop Out marksheet/admit card (Hall Ticket) issued by the Board for confirmation of the admission.</br> <u><strong>The learners registered under stream 4 will be eligible for TOC as per guidelines and conditions given in NIOS Prospectus. In Stream 4th of NIOS Board marksheet, provisional certificate, migration cum transfer certificate and passing certificate will be awarded of the year 2017 to successful learners. </br></strong></u><span style="color:#a52a2a;">This scheme is presently valid for only thirteen subjects at present i.e. Hindi(301), English(302), Mathematics(311), Sanskrit(309), Physics(312), Chemistry(313), Biology(314), Geography(316), Political Sc.(317), Economics(318), Business Studies(319), Accountancy(320), Home Science(321), Psychology(328) and Painting(332). <p align="justify">The NIOS takes conscious steps to provide quality education. The Govt. of India has vested authority with NIOS to conduct Public Examinations and provide Secondary and Senior Secondary level certificates, which are equivalent to the certificates provided by any other Board. NIOS is one of the three National Boards while other two are CBSE and CISCE.</p>
<p align="justify"><strong>N.I.O.S Passed students can seek admission in all india as well as state Medical, Engineering and other various competetive exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, PMT (NEET), CA, CS, ICWA, CLAT and also other professional and acedemic courses in all universities, technical institutes across the country and abroad. They can also seek the government jobs whether central / state government. However other eligibility criteria like age, particular subjects, qualifying percentage and other criteria must be fulfilled by the students.</strong>.</p>
